Numappara Marsh
Located at a distance of an hour leisurely round-trip walk from the parking lot. You can enjoy seeing various flowers at this spot, which is a mixture of a marsh, grass fields and forest.

Mt.Jeans/Ropeway
This is one of the largest colonies of Goyotsutsuji azalea in Japan. More than thirty thousand of the azalea trees over 300-years old grow wild here. It has a promenade and a viewing platform built neatly, too.

Nasu Onsen Shrine
A shrine established in the Nara age when a hot spring was found in Nasu. An old story tells that Nasu-no-Yoichi, a warrior in the Ganpei war, bent his knee to this shrine praying that he could hit the target of a Japanese fan in the battle of Yashima. It also has a stone monument for a haiku poem by Matsuo Basho who once visited here. Every morning, 6 - 8 a.m., from late July through August every year, a morning market opens here selling local vegetables and folkcraft articles.

Kuizome Temple
The name "Kuizome", or "start to eat", originates from an old legend that a princess of Kurobane Clan, suffering from a strange disease which coursed her to loose the ability to eat, prayed here and attained recovery. Its garden has Juzuwariishi stones, which are said to have been cut into two by Buddhist Saint Nichiren while praying for containing the magical power of the specter fox with nine tails, and Kyodaiseki stones, on which some Buddhist invocation words are said to have been inscribed by one of his disciples with nails.
